"without sounding negative, I do think that PAs are overlooked. Too many people think it's an easy job- introducing a qualification may take that myth away!"

 

"PA's are not taken seriously. Anybody thinks they can be a PA. Nobody understands what we do and the old image of typing and filing our nails is still out there. It will sort out the serious paople making a career from those who think it's an 'easy option' for work"

 

"It would help when putting together job descritions etc, and also when interviewing if there were a national qualification, although it would need to be diverse"
